Atmospheric Analysis and Consulting, Inc. (AAC), founded in June of 1993, is a professional Environmental Laboratory and Consulting firm dedicated to technical excellence, quality field and analytical support with personalized one-on-one client attention.   AAC has an established client base of over 250 companies worldwide and 18 years of experience in the field of analytical chemistry, research and method development.

We specialize in air pollution analysis from various industrial emission sources as well as conducting both small and large scale ambient analysis and indoor air monitoring programs.   Our laboratory is certified by the National Environmental Laboratory Approval Program (NELAP) conducted by the State of Florida, Department of Health, Bureau of Laboratories, and the states of New Jersey and Texas.

Job Requirements

*BS or higher degree in Science, Chemistry preferred
*3 to 10 years of analytical laboratory experience in air or soil & water laboratory, specifically with GC/ MS
*Additional experience with HPLC, IC & GC a plus
*Must be familiar with the theories and principles of Analytical Chemistry and Instrumentation including GCs,
  detectors, column selection, and analysis techniques
*Must be fluent with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word
*Familiarization with a wide range of air analysis methods, sampling equipment and instrumentation a plus
*Self-motivated, responsible individual with good communication skills and willingness to learn and progress over
  time through consistent dedication and training.   The position requires the individual to multi-task, independent/
  self-sufficient, flexible and willing to participate in a team environment.   A flexible schedule is a
  requirement and involves weekend and evening responsibilities.

*Sample analysis using gas or liquid chromatographs (GC/ MS)
*Data handling and report preparation
*Quality Control/ Quality Assurance
*Instrument Maintenance/ troubleshooting
*Method development and research
*Train other lab personnel
